Join us, at Innovation2018, the annual Hargraves conference to be held in Sydney on 14 & 15 March 2018.
“Fit for the future”. It’s about people and how their involvement and engagement is the key to success – for individuals, teams and organisations. It’s your opportunity to “learn, share and grow your professional network with like-minded people committed to innovation.” (J Kerr, DeakinCo.)
The American poet Ralph Waldo Emerson is credited with saying ‘build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door’. But he didn’t live in a world where there are more new ideas than people and more markets than ever before in human history.
A world changing so fast that only 12% of the Fortune 500 companies from 1955 are still in business today, and last year alone, 26% fell off the list.
The challenge facing organisations, their teams and their employees, is how to adapt and be ‘fit for the future’ of work. This is the theme for Innovation2018, Hargraves’ annual conference being held on 14 & 15 March 2018 in Sydney.
A recent study found 94% of surveyed companies report that “agility and collaboration” are critical to their organisation’s success, yet only 6% say that they are “highly agile today” whilst 19% describe themselves as “not agile.”
Keynotes on 14 March will focus on stories and personal experience from a diverse group of influential leaders. As author Adam Grant reminds us, 63% of people will recall a story from a presentation but only 5% will recall a statistic. Our speakers and their stories have been selected to inspire; to be purposeful, insightful, and useful.
