If your organisation is in transport, freight, logistics or supply chain in the Greater Western Sydney then we want to hear from you! Don’t miss this opportunity to express your opinion in the future management in this area.
RDA Sydney, NSW Ports, Industry Groups, and we at Hargraves Institute are combining forces to organise this Sydney Freight & Supply Chain Strategy workshop with the main objectives of::
- Looking at the urban freight supply chains and supply chain systems in Sydney particularly in Greater Western Sydney (GWS) as it impacts Greater Sydney and regional NSW as a whole.
- Looking at the current freight system performance, and potential future freight system performance that will inevitably occur with projected rapid growth in population and employment in GWS and around a new WSA Airport. We will include the costs of moving freight along transport supply chains; opportunities for efficiency improvement and reduced costs through improved infrastructure capacity; access, pricing, competition, technological advances, data acquisition or other investment or regulatory arrangements.
- Discussing the issues and possible solutions with a cross-section of users and providers of freight services, the regulators of freight, the owners and operators of freight infrastructure, and land use and transport planners, consultants, forecasters, researchers and communities engaged with freight development.
