Kaisu brings to organisations international experience and extensive knowledge of leadership, strategic vision and execution, corporate governance, technology and passion for innovation from running her own company and working in top ASX and LSE 100 companies in Australia, Finland, UK, Belgium and Holland for over 20 years.
Kaisu’s skills as a dynamic business and IT executive have been developed in variety of industries from start-ups to large organisations in Finance and Insurance, Travel and Tourism, Retail, Telecommunications, Consultancy, Energy/Utilities with Oil & Gas, Government and Universities. In her roles she has led diverse, multi-vendor and multi-cultural teams in transformational change programs, and delivered revenue growth from new products and services, reduction in operational costs and increase in employee and customer engagement. Kaisu is passionate about customer – and always thinking how organizations can improve and drive value via innovation and digital. And as a former coder, she can’t help herself to get easily excited about technology.
Kaisu is also a wife, a mother of twin girls, and she coaches and mentors aspiring start ups and raising stars in her community. She loves cycling and running, and can be found on the Brisbane Norths Rugby field cheering for the home team.
Currently Kaisu heads the QDigital and Innovation function at Bank of Queensland with goal to make BOQ the most loved bank in Australia.
