DSE Showcase Nov 09

Second Government Showcase demonstrates ideas that value add.

Victoria's Department of Sustainability and Environment held its second showcase at the Melbourne Business School on 18 November 2009. Attended by fifty internal stakeholders, the event featured a wide range of presentations where innovators shared the outcomes of their work with others and how they had successfully put their ideas into action, whilst overcoming roadblocks and gaining the support of others.

The six diverse presentations included: Value Adding To DSE's Biodiversity Datasets; DSE's - Go for your life: Green Gym, The Native Vegetation Exchange, Metadata to Manage Spacial Data Infrastructure, Strategic Planning for Biodiversity and Melbourne's Future Growth, and Smart Water Metering.
