Hargraves
Institute Member Benefits and Services
The
Hargraves Institute has developed an exciting calendar of events
and activities to deliver a range of outcomes to its members. All
activities are aimed at specifically addressing member needs and
are developed in close consultation with members.
These
activities include:
Member
initiated forums:
Held
regularly in multiple locations, all member forums respond to
member initiated topics and issues. All members have the
opportunity to host a forum, and/or suggest forum topics. The
facilitated forum allow members to openly collaborate and
share experience and knowledge, providing real insights and an
opportunity to identify best practice.
“Innovation:
a Contemporary Perspective” the annual conference
This
event showcases both new ideas from a wide range of speakers and
the activities of members themselves. At least 50% of the
conference is interactive and includes site visits, workshops,
dinners and networking opportunities. The conference proceedings
are captured in a conference report that is circulated to members
and the wider community. The conference is held in March each year
and 2008 is the fifth conference of its type.
“Excellence:
A Shared Perspective”
Excellence
provides a variety of experiences to show how leading enterprises
are building excellence as a foundation for delivering future
growth. ‘Excellence’ comprises a number of hosted events with
member organisations selecting topics and hosting events on their
premises for other members. This “non-conference” is designed to be
an alternate event to the annual conference and is run over a
several weeks during September each year.
Key
note speaker events
Each
year Hargraves Institute undertakes to bring to Australia one
keynote speaker for a program of interactive training and
discussions . The keynote speaker is selected following member
input, ensuring relevance and value.
Hargraves
Program and Services
The
Hargraves Institute provides a range of programs and services for
individuals and consortiums of members to address specific issues
facing business. The first consortium program was the Professional
Development Program which introduces participants to the
fundamental principles, techniques and tools involved in
innovation.
Issues
facing business are addressed collaboratively with consortiums of
members where the power of numbers can deliver large outputs for
small inputs. Individual members work directly with the Hargraves
Program team to address specific issues through customised
programs, services and activities which have previously included
facilitation, training, and tailored consulting.
