Your strategic objectives are our innovation priorities
January is a time for reflection, evaluating the previous year’s achievements and setting new goals and objectives. The accelerating pace of change continues to challenge people and organisations to keep up. Those that embrace the need for strategic innovation will emerge as leaders.
At Hargraves we see 2017 as the year to focus on People, Purpose and Process. This is reflected in the activities we have planned, with input from our members, for the first half of 2017. I encourage you to take a look, get involved and assist us to grow our community of innovation leaders and practitioners by sharing with others.
February is Customer Led Innovation – customer experience (CX) should be a key focus for your innovation projects. Customers are people who transact with you for a purpose, to accomplish something. How well do you understand your customers’ ‘jobs to be done’? Do your processes support customer needs and expectations while delivering your business operational efficiency and consistent profit margins? Share your experiences and learn from others across a broad range of industries. Attend and bring others along to our one-day workshop on 14 February titled radicalCX.
March is Innovation Culture based around three themes; Customers, Collaboration and Diversity. An impressive line up of speakers will share their stories from: AGL, Australian Institute of Project Management, Vice-Versa Reality, Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions, CHEP Asia Pacific, CSR Limited, Deloitte, Good Design Australia and others to be announced. Attend and bring your colleagues along to our annual conference Innovation2017.
May is Innovation Tools including new opportunity spaces, concurrent design and delivery for service and product innovation. A series of workshops will be announced in March.
June is Innovation Performance including dashboards, return on innovation (ROI) metrics and idea management. A member survey in collaboration with UTS will share current practices and performance across sectors. All innovation leaders and practitioners across the Hargraves community will be invited to participate.
